What To Expect On Sunday
When you enter The Sanctuary you’ll find a warm, friendly, welcoming environment. You’ll be greeted by the smiling faces of people who are genuinely happy that you have come. We believe you arrive as a visitor and leave as a friend.
We start at 10 a.m. with a short time of fellowship so feel free to grab a cup of coffee, a snack and join in on the conversation.
At around 10:15 Allen and Cathy Poor, along with the music team, begin our service with a time of vibrant Christ centered worship. Here at The Sanctuary we adhere to David’s instructions in Psalms 100:4 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name”. We encourage everyone to clap, sing loud and join in as we lift up the Lord in worship and praise.
The first Sunday of every month we share communion together as a family adhering to Jesus’ command “Do this in remembrance of me”.
Around 10:45 our pastor shares a word from the Lord. Pastor Robert holds firmly to the message of Grace. His messages are often humorous, are always anointed, challenging and uplifting.
The Sanctuary is a New Testament church that believes “by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is a gift from God” as stated in Ephesians 2:8.
Pastor Robert feels God has given him a mandate to Impart and Inspire. To impart God’s word through teaching/preaching and His anointing through prayer and the laying of hands. His hope is to inspire people to rise up and fulfil their God given purpose/destiny. Each of us was created for a reason and we all have a purpose for being.
At the end of service there is an invitation for prayer. We believe that Jesus is involved in and cares about every aspect of people’s lives. As Christians we have divine access to God in prayer through Jesus’ victory on the cross. With that in mind we pray and lay hands on people with an expectancy, knowing that God is still in the miracle working business and that it is His desire to minister to the needs of His saints.
